St Bernadette’s aspires to be contemporary in its approach and practice in learning and teaching. We strive to provide a learning environment, which caters for a range of different learning styles and that prepares our students with the skills required to be successful in the 21st century. We believe integrating the use of ICT throughout the curriculum not only increases student engagement, it also enhances classroom pedagogy.
At St Bernadette’s we consider ourselves to be well resourced in the area of ICT. We are currently 1:1 iPads in the Year 5/6 year levels and we are always evolving and increasing our iPad program from Prep to Year 4. We also use other Apple products, such as MacBooks and Apple TVs in our everyday learning and teaching practice.
At St Bernadette’s we also place a great importance in being responsible digital citizens. We constantly try our best to educate our students and staff to responsibly use technology and stay safe online.
We are always striving to be a school that uses ICT as a tool to transform learning experiences so they result in higher levels of achievement for students. We are proud of the way in which our students and teachers use ICT at St Bernadette’s.
